Help without doing it for them
Choose an activity together. Allow a first attempt, then ask a simple question: “What did you notice?” or “What would you try differently?”. A mistake can become a clue. In skill games, a missed flip or an overfilled stack is an opportunity to try again without judgement.
Choose a good stopping point
Start with an activity or challenge you have chosen together. Games can be paused; stories can be read scene by scene. Finishing a scene, changing activities or returning later is part of exploring too.
Continue away from the screen
After the valley, colour or count real objects. After Minalune, hide an invented clue in a drawing. With Tatan and Avouchka, draw an impossible invention or build it from cardboard. Fictional stunts and machines are ideas to imagine, not challenges to copy.

Which world should I choose for my child?
Dinosaur Valley welcomes ages 3-7, with first discoveries and exercises mostly for ages 5-7. Minalune offers observation and mysteries for ages 6-8. Tatan and Avouchka combine humour, inventions and skill games for ages 7-10. Ages are a guide: follow your child’s interests and confidence too.
Does my child need to read independently?
It depends on the activity. Valley games use pictures and short instructions, with read-aloud support when the browser provides it. Minalune mysteries and some Tatan and Avouchka challenges need more reading. An adult can read the instruction without solving the challenge for the child.
What is free, and what does Premium include?
Content labelled Free requires no subscription. A parent Free account costs nothing. Premium opens the reserved library, currently containing Dinosaur Valley activities, colouring and short videos. The Minalune and Tatan and Avouchka games currently offered remain free. Separately purchased books are not included in Premium.
Can we play without sound or with less motion?
Yes. Games provide a sound switch. The Motion setting is in the For parents menu; the site also respects your device’s reduced-motion preference. External videos start only after a click.
What gets saved?
Drawings are created on your device and are not sent to Lopiku. Some games keep unlocked levels or best scores locally. A parent account stores the adult’s email and subscription status without creating a child profile. The Privacy page explains these uses.
