Tiny arms, enormous enthusiasm
Rex lives in a sunny corner of the Lopiku valley, near his favourite rock. You can recognise this little yellow T. rex by his orange spots and enormous grin. Every morning, he wakes up with one urgent plan: find Trixie and Pip and start playing. He would like to run, wave and roll the red ball all at once. His feet do not always agree with the schedule.
The roar and the butterfly
One day, Rex was practising his most impressive roar. He puffed out his tummy and lifted his chin… just as a butterfly landed on his nose. Instead of roaring, he stood perfectly still, eyes wide. “Are you trying to scare it?” whispered Trixie. “No,” Rex whispered back. “I’m being a bench.” That was how he discovered that being brave can be very quiet.
Champion of trying again
When his ball rolls the wrong way, Rex sometimes pulls a funny face. Then Trixie helps him look at the path and Pip cheers from above. Rex takes a breath and tries again. He is always first to offer help, even with his tiny arms: he pushes, shares the carrying or finds another way. When a friend succeeds, his big feet do a celebration dance.
A peek into his world
He loves ball games, splashy puddles and hugs with room for everyone. His dream is to invent a game everyone can join, whether they have wings, horns or very tiny arms. His favourite words? “One more try… I’ve got it this time!” Meet Rex in The Red Ball and help him get the adventure rolling.
